About Us

CreateZA Media was born out of a passion for content creation and the ability to produce quality media and productions across the spectrum of the digital space. Since 2012, each of the founders spent years forming groups of content creators across Facebook and WhatsApp as well as hosting events for YouTubers across South Africa. This was to connect and train these creators in their craft. These groups grew and expanded to new platforms such as Instagram and TikTok while the events extended across the country reaching seven of South Africa’s major cities. Throughout this time our team was building the community aspect of CreateZA as a passion project while the founders were studying and working full time in media production. During these years they were trained and seasoned in different aspects of media ranging from productions, photography, and graphic design to web design and social media. While our core team is in Gauteng, we also have a network of creators across South Africa with whom we’ve worked and whose skills we highly approve of.

Meet The Team

Sheldon Joshua Zamouzaridis

Co-Founder

Hi, I’m Sheldon. A driven and passionate creative in the field of media.

At Nelson Mandela University, I passed my modules in multi-media systems covering photography and Videography with distinctions. I’ve also achieved certification in digital marketing through Google, accredited by IAB and The Open University.

Photography, videography, and content creation are major passions of mine. Since 2019 I’ve organized over 50 on and offline workshops across South Africa to equip our content creators.

I’ve received a lot of experience in this field as both a freelance photographer and videographer for independent and corporate clients as well as working full time for the established media production company, Duck Soup Productions in their corporate and wedding production departments.

Producing quality content and making clients feel cared for is very important to me.

Tenn iBair

Co-Founder

Hey, I’m Tenn iBair, I’m a visual big picture thinker with a passion for telling stories. I have 7 years of experience in video pre-production, shooting, and editing, as well as photography, voice-overs, and presenting.

5 of those years were based at a production company, working with brands like Capitec Bank, Saint Gobain, Red Bull.

The rest of my time has been spent freelancing for magazines like Men’s Health, Rolling Stone, and GQ magazine

Over the years have developed the skills to take a project from idea to complete professional video, script, or voice project. Whether it’s in front of or behind the camera, in the boardroom, or out on a photo shoot, I’m experienced and excited to tell your story well. I know exactly how to place your story into the bigger picture of where the market is going.

Caleb T Janssens

Marketing Manager

Hello, my name is Caleb. I am out-going and incredibly passionate about content creation and all the aspects that come with it.

After Matriculating in 2015 I started studying a variety of subjects at AFDA Durban, these included Onscreen & Onstage Performance, Editing, VFX, Directing, and Script Writing.

After my time at AFDA I started working as an intern as a Media Assistant. Here I focused on video editing, photography, and began my work on websites. During this time I also took several UCT online classes to further my education of Websites and Social Media.

I was then hired full-time as a Media Assistant but focused primarily on Website Development. Here I also started learning about SEO and Analytics.

I was then approached by a Production company and was asked to join the team as their primary Editor and Cinematographer, but ended up becoming their Marketing Manager and additionally Web Developer.

As a result of the large variety of tasks I was required to do throughout my working career, I have gained vast knowledge in a large variety of different fields.

Producing content of a high calibre is essential to me, and I hold myself to this high standard.

Jacques P. Taljaard

Finances

Jacques started his career as a reconciliations officer for SANLAM’s retirement fund employee benefits department after obtaining his BCom Honours in Financial Accountancy, where he was awarded special recognition for outstanding performance.
Thereafter he served 2 years of an Auditing Articles contract with an audit firm in Waterkloof, Pretoria, from where he transferred to ANF CA (SA) Incorporated in Kempton Park.
Here he liaised directly with clients to assist them with various problem solving and performing the general Accounting Officer duties. His involvement in the Public and Private Sector, especially SMEs, both as a service provider and entrepreneur has given him a wide frame of reference to which he can apply his theoretical knowledge, to the clients’ benefit.
Jacques is also the presenter of the Pretera Accounting Services YouTube channel.
Jacques has a keen interest in consulting with clients to build a long term relationship and to solve their needs. He is married, and in his free time enjoys time with his family, the outdoors, golf, photography, and music.

Tsholo Tshenkeng

Hello, I’m Tsholofelo, a determined and imaginative writer.

I studied a BA Languages degree at the University of Pretoria (UP), achieving distinctions for all of my German grammar and literature modules as well as English modules. In 2019 I was awarded a scholarship to study English literature at the University of Konstanz in Germany for 4 months. I enjoy writing both prose and poetry. My poetry has been published several times by a UP literary society and the Poetry Institute of Africa. I served as the Secretary on the executive committee for *The Inklings Society for the Arts* for 2 consecutive years. During my time in office I pioneered a project to unite creatives who had a passion for music, including writing and playing it, to create new music and perform it at an event. Seeing creative talent nurtured and expressed in a plethora of ways is of the utmost importance to me.

As a writer I strive to create something special out of a simple idea and communicate something significant with a few simple words.
